Hey, it’s me! The Digital Diplomat..

As many of us prepare to enter into a New Year, we are also preparing our businesses to meet new goals and new growth. But, as you may or may not know, depending on how closely you are watching trends, there will be very little growth for you and/or your business if you are not implementing digital strategies.

Here’s a quick list of some of the top strategies you should be implementing to stay ahead. I’ve also listed some of the specific platforms that you should be considering. How to choose what platform that works best for you depends on the goals of your business and the level of your knowledge. Some platforms are great for non-tech individuals and others are not.

Not quite sure which route to go? We can help you out with that here. This program is great for non-tech professionals who are looking to package years of specialized knowledge to generate revenue online.

Alright, let’s begin –

Content Management System (CMS) ( WordPress, Shopify, Wix, Kajabi etc.) A content management system (CMS) is an application that is used to manage web content, allowing multiple contributors to create, edit and publish. Content in a CMS is typically stored in a database and displayed in a presentation layer based on a set of templates.

Revenue Generating Community Structures and Platform Strategies (Affiliate Marketing, Ambassador Programs, Referrals etc.) Developing community building structures and implementing strategies to generate revenue from your products and services. There are specific tools within the Content Management System that connect to other external strategies that are a must for any business model.

Digital Marketing Strategy (SEM Rush, SEO MoZ, Google Adwords etc.)
A digital marketing strategy is a plan that helps your business achieve specific digital goals through carefully selected online marketing channels such as paid, earned, and owned media.

Social Media Marketing Technology (Buzz Sumo, Hootsuite, Sprout Social, CrowdFire, OnlyPult, Shop Integration etc.) Social media marketing is the use of social media platforms to connect with your audience to build your brand, increase sales, and drive website traffic. The major social media platforms (at the moment) are Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube, and TikTok. It’s important to know how to connect social media shop integrations.

Mobile Marketing System (ManyChat,SendPulse, Trillo, Active Campaign etc.) Mobile marketing is a multi-channel, digital marketing strategy aimed at reaching a target audience on their smartphones, tablets, and/or other mobile devices, via websites, email, SMS and MMS, social media, and apps. In recent years, customers have started to shift their attention (and dollars) to mobile. This is also very dependent on the region of focus for acquiring customers. For example, if you are focused on building a customer base in Africa, you must understand the kind of mobile technologies that are suitable for that region. They are NOT the same across the world and are specific to the region and even a country.

Email Marketing (Sendgrid, Active Campaign, Mailchimp, etc.)
Email marketing allows you to create targeted and personalized messages. This can help you to build meaningful relationships with your customers. It can also improve response rates to your direct marketing campaigns.

Collaborative Tools (Trello, Slack, Flock, Asana, ZoHo etc.)
A collaboration tool helps people to collaborate. The purpose of a collaboration tool is to support a group of two or more individuals to accomplish a common goal or objective. They can also include software tools and applications such as collaborative software.

Track, Analyze and Optimize marketing (Agency Analytics, Google Analytics, Clickfunnels, Convert Kit, Leadpages etc.) Marketing Optimization is the process of improving the marketing efforts of an organization in an effort to maximize the desired business outcomes. Marketing optimization is performed on each individual marketing tactic employed, as well as optimizing the fit of those tactics into the marketing strategy as a whole.
